Raag Description:

Raag Aheer-Bhairav occupies a unique place among morning Raagas. It is a pleasing blend of Raag Bhairav in Poorvang and Raag Kafi in Uttarang. The chalan of this Raag is like Raag Bhairav in Poorvang where Rishabh oscillates (G m P G M r r S), however in Uttarang the oscillation of Dhaivat is skipped.

This Raag can be expanded in all the three octaves. This Raag creates an atmosphere full of Bhakti Ras. The notes as given hereafter literally create a live image of this Raag:
